The band are based in Bristol, UK, and combine a shared love of taut melody, and a heady mix of woven chiming guitars with a pop sensibility.
"Unusual chord sequences, and quickfire changes in rhythm and mood call to mind classy, quirky pop made by the likes of Prefab Sprout, Orange Juice and more recently Guillemots". 9/10 BEP

On Adam Walton’s radar
Apologies for the hoary old cliche but sending out promo CDs seems a little like blowing a dandelion seedhead into the wind and wondering where on earth the parachutes will land, let alone knowing if they will land on sympathetic ears. So it is that a bunch of Cue Fanfare singles have gone out to various musos, tastemakers, DJs and bloggers.
Needless to say we were pretty chuffed when Adam Walton (BBC Wales) emailed back to say he’d received, listened to, and was rather smitten by ‘Robot’, and then proceeded to play it on his Sunday night show. Yay!
Here’s a link to his show, available for the rest of this week. Seriously, take a listen if you get a moment, it’s a cracking playlist: http://bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b014l3hb/Adam_Walton_25_09_2011/.
Our debut single Robot/Leda and the Swan is now available to preorder. We will be releasing 100 limited edition CDs. These will be luxury sleeves printed onto 100% silk, hand-stitched and numbered.
